Dr. Shashi is the Chairman and CEO of KGM Group with over 30 years of experience in construction and property development, real estate, garment manufacturing and hospitality services. He graduated from Raffles School Singapore and obtained his medical degree from the Trivandrum Medical College in 1979. Having a passion for entrepreneurship, he followed his instincts to expand KGM Group’s operations in India. Under the stewardship of Dr. Shashi, the Group progressively ventured into real estate, construction and property development across Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The company also entered the hospitality sector, establishing and running successful hotel and restaurants for over 30 years. He is also a member of the Federation of Hotels and Restaurants Association. In the late ‘80s Dr Shashi ventured into garment manufacturing in India and set up an export unit for leather garments and finished leather products. Alongside, he expanded the company’s realty services with a range of offerings in line with emerging customer preferences.

Ashwin Shashi is the Chief Operating Officer of KGM’s Real Estate and garment manufacturing divisions. With over 10 years of global work experience in Engineering and Corporate Finance, he has been instrumental in introducing various revolutionary steps for the effective control and management of the Group's financial and operational processes. An engineer at heart, Ashwin completed his Masters in Engineering in the USA and joined General Electric Company (G.E.) as Lead Systems Engineer. He later moved to the Corporate Finance and Operations division of G.E. and joined Corporate Audit Staff. He served as a finance auditor and business consultant for various G.E. businesses including GE Industrial, Healthcare, Energy, Global Banking and GE Capital. After having worked in several countries, Ashwin returned to India to join KGM Group and head the Finance and Operational activities of the Real Estate and Export businesses.

Dr. Padmaja Shashi is retired professor and Head of the Department of Mathematics, Government Engineering College, Trivandrum. She is the founder of Padmaja’s Math Institute and has over 30 years of experience in running educational institutions. Dr. Padmaja received a postgraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of Kerala, and a PhD from Anna University, concentrating in Operations Research and Linear Programming. She also holds a post graduate degree in Psychology. Dr. Padmaja Shashi is an active director of KGM’s real estate and garment manufacturing divisions.

Ms Arati Vivek is a post graduate in Mathematics with several years of experience in running an academic institution. She obtained her M.Phil degree from University of Madras, M.Sc degree from Anna University Chennai and B.Sc degree from Stella Maris College, Chennai, concentrating in Mathematics. Arati is a director of KGM’s real estate division.
